"Had a bad experience here several years ago but decided to give it another go and pleased I did. Staff are very friendly and polite, food is good and well worth the visit. Only thing I can recommend is if you are getting the fish ask for it to go on top. Gets stuck on the greaseproof paper and it pulls off all the batter if on the bottom."

"Pulled off the A1 and was so pleased we found this chip shop (it had been recommended by friends). Excellent fish and chips (and a battered sausage), and good portion size .... enough chips for a butty at teatime. Friendly service and great location on the very wide and quiet main road."
